FreeCell is a solitaire-based card game using a standard 52-card deck. Your goal is to move all the cards to four "foundation" piles in order, from Ace to King for each suit.
Note that not every game is winnable, its a mix of skill and luck and thats what makes this game fun!
How to play
- Cards are dealt into 8 columns.
- You have 4 "free cells" to hold 1 card each and 4 "foundation" piles to build suits.
- Move cards between columns in descending order and alternating colors (e.g., red 6 on black 7).
- The top card of each cascade begins a tableau.
- Tableaux must be built down by alternating colors.
- Foundations are built up by suit.
- Use free cells to temporarily hold cards.
- Build foundation piles in order (Ace, 2, 3, etc.).
- Use empty columns to temporarily hold cards or sequences to help rearrange.
How to win
- Plan ahead—think before you move!
- Use free cells carefully, as they’re limited.
- Try to free up Aces and low cards first.
- You win when all cards are in the foundation piles! :)
